WEDDING GUEST BOOK?

I was recently asked to create an amazing painting (which is still in the works) for someone's wedding! The painting is suppose to be like a traditional guest book that people would sign but instead of signing in, the guests are suppose to leave their thumb/finger print! Such a cute idea! And I had never heard of it before! Funny thing is that since I have been asked this, another couple has requested one as well... Apparently, this is more common than I realized! So, this is a simple little love tree for a simply lovely couple...

I am still working on the other painting which involves a desert scene and cactus! Don't worry, I will post when done!

Border Blu

This is Blu, one of the goofiest dogs around! His favorite pass times are:

Jumping at the wall to the neighbors house to see their Great Danes

Eating treats

Going in and out of the dog door 

Playing with kid sister Molly

Lounging around being cute

I don't often get to do portraits of animals but I really had a blast with this one! Kid sister Molly will have a portrait too some day when Dad gets around to snapping the perfect photo! Check out the slide show at the bottom to see the completed piece!

BUMBLE BEE HONEY!

It has been a long while since I have posted! I have been really busy with life and my growing belly! That's right!! I finally get to paint my own nursery! Which seems like a dream, but if you know anything about artists we are indecisive and this dream can easily turn into a nightmare! Also, laziness takes over when it's my own project... mostly because the laundry needs to be done, the dogs need walking or I have to go to the doctor. I really wish I was willing to pay someone to do it for me but I fear it won't be done to my standards or liking!!! I'm sort of a line quality snob! So long story short, I am working on my nursery here and there.  So far we have come up with a grey, white, and yellow themed...are you ready for it? BUMBLE BEES and honeycombs!!! For those who know me, this is so fitting that my little baby would be with bees as I was always nicknamed QUEEN BEE growing up... Hence, HER MAJESTY'S MURALS! SO, I will get to work and not worry but "BEE HAPPY" about my slow pace!! Please enjoy the pics as the room progresses. Hope you enjoy the process as much as I!

The Modern Nursery

So often I am asked to paint a cute and crazy nursery with bright colors. This is so fun for babies to be exposed to but often times we forget that the nursery is also to be enjoyed by our Mothers and most of the time Moms need to relax. This is a nursery I just finished that does just that... It is a serene, calming nursery with clean lines and a modern design that still says "Baby's Room" without looking like a baby threw up within four walls. It's a gorgeous monochromatic Sage Green. Hope you enjoy...

BANNER GOOD SAMARITAN MEDICAL CENTER

YEAH! I have been asked and am currently working on painting the Hydrotherapy Room at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center! This is PFCC's new Hydro room on 3A, not to be confused with Ancillary 3's Hydro room. Though I wouldn't mind painting that either! I am working on a beach theme, definately not done but working on it. Check out the slide show below to see progress!
